Plugging in through your amplifier's speaker outputs without drawing any power from it may seem like magic, but the real magic lies in the way the sound takes on a natural character and blends seamlessly with your speakers. Unique tuning and special limiters make the T / 7x sound cooler, faster, and more dynamic than before.

The T / 7x is, without reservation, one of the most balanced RELs of all time. To achieve a perfect balance, a subwoofer must weigh speed and power, and ensure true breadth and depth, and do so in a physically harmonious package. The T / 7x makes everything look easy. Fast and smooth for a perfect mix, it can produce exceptionally deep, tuned bass that contradicts its size and plays louder than most will need.

Designed to be better.

Many don't realize the intense connection between performance and design here at REL. Performance is everything to us and leads to physical design solutions. That's right, our engineers, recognizing the need for a larger cabinet volume to achieve smoother, more powerful goals, turn to the designer. This one works the dimensions to deceive the eye and make it see a smaller and more compact footprint, although the volume of the closet increases. It uses smoothly rounded corner radii that allow the eye to flow and see less visual mass. The result is modern and clean, with no unnecessary frills.

Drive.

INNOVATIVE LOW ALLOY / FIBER ENGINES.

Active long-throw 8 "drivers and passive 10" drivers are what give T / 7x its incredible speed and clean finish. A thorough review of critical suspension components are responsible for the T / 7x's agility and flexibility. The T / 7x is expected to sound louder and more powerful, but few could predict that it is also faster, reactive and transparent than our previous generation, which is itself a paragon of virtues. Stiffer suspensions better suited to advanced work mean not only that every driver can track miniscule details, but they also travel further and handle more power.

THE POWER BEHIND REL.

We have kept our signature Class A / B amplifiers used in every generation of the T Series since 2006. Reliability is the key to being a happy owner and with over 200,000 and counting from this range they lead long happy lives, the owners of the T / x series can feel confident in REL's standard reliability. The powerful 200 watt mosfet amplifier used in the T / 7x remains an icon of sound and reliability with huge current reserves. Massive power supplies are used and little improvements are found everywhere. New driver mosfets that increase performance and transparency and new methods for securing toroidal transformers mean better performance and superior reliability. The best gets better.

The standby switch is only included on 220V units.

At REL, we have developed an excellent reputation for building the fastest, best-sounding wireless systems available in the industry. REL never relies on digital compression as it results in thin, lifeless sound. Instead, we've perfected an Arrow ™ wireless system (optional); so fast and dynamic that we feel comfortable encouraging the use of wireless technology on one channel of a pair of RELs while the other channel can be wired.
