Compact two-way bass-reflex loudspeaker
The Chorus 706 compact loudspeaker is the ultimate bookshelf loudspeaker: the true Focal tradition. Superbly balanced and neutral, its precision and definition are ideal for spaces up to 20 m2 without restrictive levels. With its fine workmanship and meticulous finish, the compact Chorus 706 loudspeaker impresses as much with its power and attractiveness as with its thoughtful design. Amazing sound reproduction
The Chorus 706 loudspeaker uses Polyglass, a cellulose fibre material reinforced with glass microspheres that enhances crisp midrange and bass reproduction. Its aluminium-magnesium alloy inverted dome tweeter takes advantage of the new suspension and conducts the sound flow admirably, while creating a barrier against extraneous sounds. 100% Focal handmade part.
The dynamics of sound
Heir to the Diapason d'Or award-winning Chorus 706V, the Chorus 706 has a natural, seamless sound level and admirable spatialisation. The sound of this loudspeaker manages to create at the same time a fresh, joyful and truly pleasant musical ambience. With the Chorus 706, no sound is monotonous and no melody sounds dull. The bass is controlled and the midrange is full of life to create a sound image that is precise and literally equal to that of a concert hall. The highs are smooth, thanks to TNV2 tweeters fitted with the new Poron suspension system. Finally, the dense, non-parallel walls eliminate parasitic noise, creating a pure, 100% Focal sound. Excellent value for money.
