FiiO FH15: The Next Generation of IEMs
Innovation in In-Ear Headphones
The FiiO FH15 is FiiO's latest in-ear headphone, featuring carbon-based materials for the dynamic driver, offering exceptional transient performance. Their lightweight design, with high rigidity and internal strength, ensures fast response at all frequencies.
Mid and High Frequency Performance
For the mid frequencies, the FH15 incorporates Knowles ED BA custom drivers. These drivers, together with the tuning holes in the cabinet, provide richer vocals and a more enveloping musical sound.
In the high frequencies, a pair of Knowles RAD BA drivers deliver high resolution, capturing even the finest detail for a natural, airy sound.
Enriched Sound
The custom-designed notch filter and Helmholtz resonator work in conjunction with the ED mid-frequency drivers to enhance response in the 1kHz to 4kHz range, delivering a more realistic sound.
The S.Turbo system filters out the higher frequencies produced by the bass driver through a low-pass filter, reducing distortion and balancing the sonic response.
Innovative Design
The FiiO FH15 features a complete redesign of the IEMs, with a dragon scale-inspired aesthetic and an oval shape that fits comfortably in the ear. Modern minimalist lines merge with classic design elements, providing a sophisticated and vivid look.
High Quality Construction
The aluminium alloy housing, combined with the flake design, gives the FH15 a unique and exquisite feel. Precise five-axis CNC machining ensures that every texture on the faceplate is perfectly detailed and eye-catching, using fine 0.8 mm diameter cutting heads for a flawless finish.
Interchangeable Sound Filters
The FH15 includes three pairs of audio filters, each designed for a specific sound profile:
- Red filter: enhances bass, delivering a bold sound.
- Black filter: provides a balanced, transparent and clear sound.
- Green filter: highlights the highs, with high resolution.
FiiO HS18 earpads
Three pairs of FiiO HS18 ear cushions, just 0.4mm thick, are included for exceptional comfort. These ear tips have a large opening that matches the earpiece nozzle, minimising barriers between the ear cup and the eardrum to maximise sonic detail.
High Quality Cable
The FiiO FH15 comes with a silver-plated monocrystalline copper cable, consisting of 152 Litz stranded wires in eight strands. This design reduces skin and proximity effects, minimises eddy current losses and improves high-frequency resolution. Audio connectors are interchangeable, including 3.5mm and 4.4mm options.
