GRADO GH4
Our family of Heritage Series woods is growing with Norwegian Pine used in the new GH3 and GH4. The GH4 is the successor to the GH1 and GH2, which used Brooklyn Maple and Cocobolo, respectively.
These limited editions are the first Grado headphones to use the warm, textured tonal capabilities of Norwegian pine. We have searched for a specific species of this wood for the shells, looking for the correct patterns and desired musical character for the GH4. This headphone has a unique voice that can only be created by combining the full-size body crafted from seasoned and treated Norwegian pine with our signature drivers.
The GH3 and GH4 are Grado's first headphones to use Norwegian Pine, and to do so we had to use techniques that are unique to these pairs. The combination of a quarter saw cut and a special curing process helps bring these pairs to life.
