The Stereo Box DS2 is Pro-Ject's version of the classic integrated stereo amplifier. It focuses on unobstructed, exceptional sound quality that is not held back by too narrow a feature set, where good sound gives way to more and more features that many customers will never need.
The Stereo Box DS2 offers excellent functionality without being over the top. The preamp section includes a high-quality phono stage, allowing you to connect turntables with more demanding MM or MC cartridges. The three RCA line inputs offer enough flexibility to add CD players, DACs, and streaming devices to your system. The Bluetooth input is great for quickly switching the phone to the speakers and brightening up the living room with warm background music.
The real star is the power amp section. The dual mono design principle is capable of driving the best loudspeakers on the market and will bring them to life with powerful transients and a rich, wide and dynamic soundstage. Variable and fixed RCA outputs allow you to connect active speakers or a subwoofer. The front panel 6.3mm headphone output is controlled by its own dedicated amp stage and has plenty of headroom to feed the best-sounding headphones. No effort has been spared in designing the electrical circuitry and thus the relatively small and compact Stereo Box DS2 can compete with much larger and heavier integrated amplifiers that cost much more.
A great complement to the Stereo Box DS2 is the CD Box DS2. Along with this DAC and CD player, you can add all the digital connectivity you need and complement your high-end vinyl experience with great-sounding, modern digital sources. An unprecedented value, a powerful stereo package that covers the entire analog and digital domains in a compact size that knows what matters most: a truly exciting music experience! Control via infrared remote control or app makes use child's play. The sandwich-shaped aluminum / metal housing is aesthetically pleasing and effectively protects against interference. Stereo Box DS2 is available in silver or black with or without walnut or eucalyptus wood side panels.
