nextgen™ - a new generation of socket connections from WBT.
Delicately formed of pure copper - the signal line for the new nextgen™ WBT-0610 Cu banana plug. Directly gold plated in a nickel free finish to prevent oxidation. This ensures high conductivity and the absence of magnetic interference. The contact pin is shaped in such a way that its three segments expand when the spindle rotates, so that it can be fixed in any type of terminal. The resulting constantly high contact pressure guarantees permanently low transition resistances.
Like the WBT-0645, the nextgen™ banana plug also takes up less space when installed and allows equipment to be mounted more compactly when space is at a premium. The WBT-0610 Cu is also cable compatible: the angle brings the cable directly to the ground and cannot be damaged by twisting.
Despite the fineness of the signal conductor, WBT-0610 is perfectly suited to the crimping technique. The two Torx screws are used to secure the crimped cable end and the second screw secures your cable to prevent strain. Thanks to the complete insulation it is safe to touch and therefore complies with IEC regulations. The safety pin also prevents accidental insertion of the plug into a power outlet. This makes the WBT-0610 Cu fully CE compliant as well.
