It uses a high-purity Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) conductor with a gold plating to minimize oxidation, while the use of a high-current-carrying plug equipped with an elastomeric shock absorber facilitates progressive contact that eliminates structural and airborne noise, as well as magnetostriction.
