This exceptionally refined product, which shares the unmistakable aesthetics of its range mates, is distinguished by its use of a hybrid architecture combining Nuvistor valves with Class A operation. This innovation represents a significant evolution over its predecessor, the celebrated Nu-Vista Vinyl. The main improvement lies in its fully balanced topology executed with discrete components, together with three gain stages powered by solid-state circuits also configured in Class A.
The fully passive EQ section is notable for being split into two separate stages. This arrangement, although more costly and complex to implement than conventional solutions, ensures exceptional accuracy in reproducing the ideal equalisation curve. This results in less deviation from the reference curve and more efficient impedance matching.
The careful design extends to the assembly of all subsystems on a printed circuit board (PCB) meticulously designed to minimise noise and distortion. This design also ensures very low output impedance. The integration of balanced and unbalanced analogue outputs, each with its own stages, allows the user to employ them simultaneously, thus offering unparalleled versatility and sound quality.
