ZERO: NO CHARACTERISTIC IMPEDANCE FOR UNCOMPRESSED CURRENT TRANSFER

The integrity of any audio transients (instantaneous peak-to-peak voltage oscillation and current) delivered from a power amplifier to a speaker has always been compromised. Whether the amplifier is a tube or a transistor, regardless of the class of operation, the source impedance of the amplifier and the load impedance of the loudspeaker never critically match. The characteristic impedance of the speaker wire is another culprit for a highly compromised non-linear electrical circuit. AudioQuest has always stated that all cables cause damage because the output is never as good as the input. However, by eliminating the characteristic impedance of a speaker cable, AQ's ZERO technology is an unprecedented step in reducing that damage.

PERFECT SURFACE COPPER + SILVER CONDUCTORS TRUE HIGH PURITY CONCENTRICS AND PERFECT SURFACE COPPER

Superior metal and conductor geometry greatly reduces ear-fatigue transient intermodulation (TIM) distortion. Silver Cloud uses a carefully refined combination of Perfect-Surface Silver (PSS) and Perfect-Surface Copper + (PSC +).

GROUND NOISE DISSIPATION TECHNOLOGY

AC ground wires provide protection against current wiring faults, but also act as antennas. Therefore, they are subject to induced radio frequency (RF) noise. This RF noise bypasses component power supplies and is generally coupled directly to the more sensitive audio / video circuitry in the system. AudioQuest's proprietary ground noise dissipation greatly reduces this distortion, producing unprecedented levels of noise dissipation in the widest possible radio frequency bandwidth (range). Our unique circuit topology uses a common mode phase cancellation matrix, along with proprietary dielectric materials that provide additional differential linear filtering. (US Patent # 9,373,439)

72V DIELECTRIC POLARIZATION SYSTEM WITH RADIO FREQUENCY TRAP (DBS) AT CARBON LEVEL

All insulation is also a dielectric whose electrical properties affect the integrity of the signal. When the insulation is unbiased, dielectric participation (non-linear absorption and release of energy back into the signal flow) causes different amounts of time delay (phase shift) for different frequencies and energy levels, which is a significant problem. for a long time. sensitive multi-octave audio. AudioQuest's multi-patented DBS creates a strong and stable electrostatic field that saturates and polarizes (organizes) the molecules in the insulation. This minimizes non-linear time delays, resulting in clearer sound emerging from a “blacker” background. The inclusion of an RF trap (a technology developed for AudioQuest's Niagara series power products) in the DBS battery pack further reduces radio frequency noise. DBS batteries will last for many years. A test button and LED allow for occasional battery testing.

DIRECTIONALITY

All drawn metallic wires or conductors have a non-symmetrical and therefore directional grain structure. AudioQuest controls the resulting RF impedance variation so that noise is drained from where it will cause distortion. The correct direction is determined by listening to each batch of metal conductors used in each AudioQuest audio cable. Where applicable, arrows are clearly marked on the connectors to ensure superior sound quality. For most AQ cable models, the arrows not only indicate the direction that optimizes metal directionality as part of Noise Dissipation, but also indicates the non-symmetrical junction of shield and GND to optimize system performance. full.
