Mistral Series plugs, like Storm Series connectors, are made from a thick layer of silver on red copper and beryllium copper.
AudioQuest Silver Cloud XTRM is similar in construction to the Blizzard XTRM, but as the name implies, it is also made of solid silver conductors. The XTRM Silver Cloud is equipped with DBS, AudioQuest's patented system that polarizes the molecules in the insulation by means of an electrical voltage of 72 volts and in this way is oriented in one direction, the result is less distortion. An additional advantage of the DBS is that the cable comes out of the package as well as "rolled". The difference in sound quality is remarkable.
AudioQuest Silver Cloud XTRM is made of solid PSC + copper and PSS silver conductors in combination with the famous 'Noise Dissipation System', (NDS) which absorbs high frequency energy. The use of silver conductors makes the mid-high octaves silky smooth, with a larger stereo image and more information in the smallest details.

AudioQuest Silver Cloud XTRM comes standard with a 15 Amp device plug (C13), but is also available with a 20 Amp plug (C19) at no additional cost.
