Updated version of the celebrated Aeon Open, the Dan Clarke Audio Aeon 2 are circumaural headphones with open helmets at the rear, equipped with a “V-Planar” transducer designed from scratch using the magnetic motor of the firm's reference model. American, the fabulous Ether 2, whose structure has been inverted 180 degrees to eliminate flow elements from the diaphragm to the ear. The flow elements have also been simplified by concentrating them in a single construction, eliminating empty air spaces to improve internal air flow. On the other hand, flow structures with high precision machining replace injection molded components, while the superior level of damping of the transducer has allowed to improve resolution and dynamics, as well as to smooth the frequency response curve. In particular, it is necessary to highlight a slimmer mid / lower zone and a much wider soundstage. The sum of the aforementioned innovations is embodied in headphones that restore music with all its emotional impact: visceral bass, transparent mids and detailed highs, all presented in the context of a deep and immersive sound scene that places said music “outside of the user's head ”to create a uniquely satisfying experience.
