Leather by BADALASSI CARLO
Badalassi Carlo, a tannery founded by CARLO BADALASSI, who was a teacher at a leather school in the Santa Croce region, has been producing leather for more than 40 years integrating the traditional method of vegetable leather processing developed in Tuscany with his theory and unique technology.
Vegetable leather processing is a time-consuming eco-leather manufacturing method by tanning the leather only with plant-extracted tannins.
BLACK leather
Minerva leather, unlike Minerva Box, is a smooth, unmilled leather that appears matte at first, but as it is worn, the color deepens and the shine increases, so you can see and feel the change with time.
Minerva is a vegetable tanned leather made using the exclusive Tuscan Vacchetta method. At first, the leather looks matte with a lack of shine, but over time it adds a natural shine and deepens the color. This is because there is no artificial layer on the surface of the leather, so the shine rises naturally from the oil contained in the leather itself as it is worn. As with other vegetable-tanned leathers, Minerva is especially beautiful over time.
