The Furutech e-TP80S NCF power strip is a sophisticated and luxuriously crafted power distributor that eliminates many common problems found with audio and video components caused by massively polluted electrical power.

The beautifully crafted special grade aluminum chassis effectively shields against another common problem, RFI (Radio Frequency Interference), and a layer of Formula GC-303 blocks EMI (Electromagnetic Interference).

The internal wiring is FURUTECH μ-14 (14 AWG) cable that guarantees low resistance. Furutech Hyper Quality Audio Grade receptacles (e-TP80ES NCF: schuko plugs) are connected to the IEC AC input socket of the e-TP80S NCF. Furutech's two-stage cryogenic and degaussing alpha process

Using cutting-edge technology and materials, Furutech developed a low-temperature, two-stage process that significantly improves all facets of audio and video performance. The treatment begins during the manufacturing process with a deep and conditioning cryogenic freeze of all metal parts. Using high-end refrigerants (Liquid Nitrogen or Helium) Furutech achieves temperatures between -196ºC to -250ºC. The treated parts actually change their molecular structure at these temperature extremes relieving internal stress. The molecules bind more closely and the overall structure becomes more stable. This improves electrical conductivity and thus power and signal transfer.

Step two of the Alpha process exposes these same parts to the proprietary ring demagnetization treatment. Ordinary high power magnets used for this purpose often increase the magnetic effects, leaving some areas more magnetized than others. Formula GC-303

GC-303 is a special material that Furutech adheres to the inside bottom plate of the chassis (see illustration below) that absorbs any EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) noise that may be transmitted through your power supply or generated by the internal accessories of the unit.
