The Diamond 12 3D is a compact and stylish loudspeaker intended for home cinema enthusiasts who wish to expand the horizons of their equipment with the addition of multi-dimensional or 3D surround sound. Like the other models in the range to which it belongs, the Wharfedale, which uses a 2-way/2-speaker configuration with a sealed enclosure and is designed to be placed on top of the Diamond 12.1 and Diamond 12.3 models, on a table or attached to a wall, mounts one of the celebrated Klarity polypropylene and mica cones in its midwoofer. As far as the upper part of the spectrum is concerned, its reproduction is entrusted to a dome made from interwoven polyester fibres, complemented by a low-loss coating that ensures open and smoothly extended highs. The Diamond 12 3D is completed by a hermetic type acoustic enclosure fitted with panels made of wood fibre plates of different thicknesses, constructed in such a way as to attenuate the sound "signature" of the enclosure and not interfere with the operation of the transducers, thus preserving the integrity of the sound message.
