Designed from the ground up by renowned sound engineer Phil Jones, they reflect an unwavering commitment to studio quality.
The integrated amplifier offers a versatile range of inputs, including digital optical and coaxial, Bluetooth 4.0 aptX, as well as balanced and unbalanced analogue inputs (XLR and RCA, respectively) and a USB port for full connectivity. These active monitor speakers fuse the quality of a reference speaker with retro wood styling, offering simplicity and quality. Sold in pairs, they include a remote control for convenience.
The phase-corrected ribbon tweeter, an improvement over the previous model, provides improved frequency response and superior sound dispersion. Together with the 5.5-inch aluminium woofer, these speakers deliver exceptional sonic performance while keeping the voice coils at a lower temperature for exceptional durability.
The design of the Airpulse A200, developed by Phil Jones, combines technical and acoustic aesthetics to create a new generation of audio. Its 25mm thick MDF panel enclosure, finished in cherry wood veneer, houses a professional sound absorption material to reduce unwanted colouration.
The A200's integrated amplifier and receiver components are built with Texas Instruments TAS5754 Class-D amplifier parts, offering exceptional digital processing and rich frequency response. Numerous digital and analogue inputs, including Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX codec, allow for easy connection of multiple devices. Bass, treble and volume controls are located on the back for precise adjustment.
