As is the norm in all IsoTek realizations, both the configuration and the materials used are of the highest quality. Thus, the conductors are arranged in a parallel configuration with a slight twist that helps to effectively minimize electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. For its part, PE is used as a dielectric, a chemically inert product that has a very low dielectric constant over a wide range of frequencies, as well as a high resistance to fatigue rupture and a low coefficient of friction. To this must be added a cotton filler that maintains the internal strength of the cable and reduces crosstalk. Reflecting the high degree of technical refinement of IsoTek products, the EVO3 Initium also includes a paper wrapper in order to ensure the physical structure of the assembly before applying a highly flexible PVC sleeve. In addition, the new IsoTek is terminated in audiophile-grade oxygen ion-free copper (OFC) connectors.
