WHARFEDALE AURA C. 2-Way Center Speaker
Designed to reproduce the central channel in Home Cinema systems consisting of models from the Aura Series installed in medium to large-sized rooms, the Aura C is a delightful and luxurious 2-way/3-speaker bass-reflex loudspeaker created to make the qualities that have brought renown to Wharfedale's reference range, especially the sensational Elysian, accessible to a larger number of enthusiasts. Hence, it includes highly appreciated technical refinements such as an Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter, two mid/bass drivers with a matrix structure cone, the innovative "perimeter" SLLP bass-reflex port, and an impeccably finished external construction. The AMT ("Air Motion Transformer") deserves highlighting as, contrary to conventional dome designs or other "planar"/ribbon types, it uniquely moves air through the use of a large, low-mass folded diaphragm, significantly improving definition and transient response. The Aura C is completed with a cabinet constructed with panels formed by multiple layers of different woods following the PROS ("Panel Resonance Optimisation System") scheme, preventing internal vibrations from being transmitted to the speakers and interfering with the emitted sound.
