WHARFEDALE AURA CS. 2-Way Center Speaker
Specifically designed to serve as the central channel reproduction in Home Cinema systems utilizing models from the Aura Series and installed in spaces ranging from small to medium, the Aura CS presents itself as a compact and stylish 2-way/3-speaker bass-reflex loudspeaker. Its primary goal is to make the remarkable features that have given renown to Wharfedale's outstanding reference range, particularly the exceptional Elysian, accessible to a broader audience.
Among the refined technical features it incorporates, the Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter stands out, along with two mid/bass drivers with a matrix structure cone, the innovative "perimeter" SLLP bass-reflex port, and meticulously finished external construction. The AMT, in contrast to conventional dome designs or other "planar"/ribbon types, uniquely moves air using a large, low-mass folded diaphragm, significantly enhancing definition and transient response.
The Aura CS is completed with a cabinet constructed with panels formed by multiple layers of different woods, following the PROS ("Panel Resonance Optimisation System") scheme, which prevents internal vibrations from being transmitted to the speakers, thus preserving the integrity of the emitted sound.
