Oil Floated Pivot:
ViV Lab's original Oil Float pivot not only provides perfect bearing performance, but also isolates the arm tube from vibration through the floor or turntable. At the same time, this pivot blocks the reflection of the vibration generated by the pencil. As a result, the sound has the utmost purity with dynamics, sharp focus, and very low distortion. Without offset angle structure:
The elbow-shaped arm with offset angle and cantilever adjustment seriously affects the sound quality due to the fluctuation of the lateral force, which can never be canceled by an anti-slip mechanism. For this reason, VIV LAB has chosen for VIV LAB Audio RIGID FLOAT TONEARM a completely straight structure (i.e. NO OFFSET ANGLE). You may ask "What about the trucking error?" , and the answer is: "The truck error is a little bigger, but the sound is much better." You cannot hear any distortion even with the 7 ”model.
Easy installation:
The VIV LAB Audio RIGID FLOAT TONEARM is very easy to install. There is no drilling into the turntable pedestal or lifting such a heavy turntable, it just sits anywhere on the turntable pedestal. It can also be placed outside of your turntable stand.
It features a silk-coated 4N silver inner cable and rhodium-plated terminals that ensure minimal signal loss.
2 color variations (black and carbon fiber finish) and 3 length variations (7 ”, 9”, 13 ”) are available.
